What services do physiotherapists or manual therapists provide?

Our Physiotherapists use a variety of treatment methods to help you feel better as soon as possible.

One of these techniques is called manual therapy. This is why Physiotherapists are sometimes called manual therapists – it’s a bit confusing.Physiotherapists complete advanced education, then register with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia. They can then provide a full scope of Physiotherapy services, including manual therapy.Physiotherapists also provide many other forms of treatment beyond manual therapy. They individualize the rehabilitation program to your specific problem and desired outcome.Your PT will discuss all recommended treatment options during your first visit. You are an integral part of your rehabilitation at SMART Rehabilitation. /*! elementor - v3.5.5 - 03-02-2022 */<br />.elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=".svg"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block}

If there are additional services we recommend, or if PT isn’t the right choice for your injury, we will discuss this with you during your first appointment. Our clients refer their friends to our clinic for a reason. We provide excellent care, outcomes, and customer service.
