Currently we are actively recruiting Full-time or Part-time Occupational Therapists in Kamloops and the Lower Mainland.
Kamloops a desert community nestled in the mountains with endless lakes and adventures awaiting you! There are activities for every season- hiking, boating, biking, skiing, camping, etc. Our clinic sits on the ancestral lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc peoples’.
$100 K – $160 K

Smart Rehab is recruiting a registered practicing Kinesiologist to join our team in Kamloops, BC. We are expanding and would like to add another team member to our group of friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for helping others achieve their goals and is interested in working with a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical abilities, movement patterns, and functional limitations.
Develop and implement customized exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and overall health and wellness strategies.
Monitor and track clients’ progress, making adjustments to programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical doctors, to provide integrated care.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices to continually enhance the quality of care provided.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
Certification from a recognized professional association BCAK
Experience in designing and implementing exercise and rehabilitation programs.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
