Aquatic Physical Therapy

FOR A FASTER RECOVERY - JUST ADD WATER.

    If you have…

    • Recently had surgery
    • Had an acute or chronic injury
    • Been dealing with joint pain in your back, hips, and knees
    • Been told you have arthritis
    • Noticed walking has become more difficult

Being in the water reduces the forces from gravity on your joints, allowing you to move with less pain. The water also provides some compression pressure to joints which can reduce joint or soft-tissue swelling.

Aquatic therapy is helpful if you are in pain and weakened due to an injury or disability and struggle to complete standard exercises. The decreased joint stress while in the water enables you to exercise more easily and with less pain.

Exercising in water also provides gentle resistance to allow strengthening and improved joint function.

More exercise, less pain – faster recovery.

…then aquatic therapy can benefit you!
