Originally from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Jackie joins us at Smart Rehabilitation after working all over Canada. Completing both her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2004 and Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2006, she has practiced OT in Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and British Columbia.

Her current area of passion is post-Covid rehabilitation, but also includes mental health, trauma-informed care, vision rehabilitation, remote work, and indigenous populations. When she’s not working hard, you can find her snapping pictures with her own photography business, cuddling with her rescue lab/chow cross Max, or soft-roading and camping with her partner Brent.
