KIANA SILLENCE, MOT
Kiana holds a B.A. in Sociology: Family, Youth, and Diversity, with a minor in Psychology from MacEwan University. She initially explored her interest in mental health as a Recreational Therapist at a long-term care facility, where she gained two years of valuable experience.
Driven by her passion for helping others, Kiana went on to earn a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta. Throughout her studies, she completed diverse placements, including Smart Rehab, community and outpatient mental health, long-term care, and a nonprofit organization supporting children with autism.
Outside of work, Kiana enjoys pottery, drawing, reading, roller skating, canoeing, and spending quality time with her friends and family in the beautiful Okanagan.
